Traffic Sign Maze

From WPC unofficial wiki

Rules[edit]

Draw a single path from S to F, going through every cell exactly once by connecting the centers of adjacent cells. On passing a cell with a traffic sign, the path must obey the sign.

History of the puzzle[edit]

First appeared on WPC 2015/Round 4. Author of the puzzle was Kazunori Saitoh (Japan).

He based this genre on his earlier puzzle named "右左折直進メイズ" (directly translated as "Right Turn, Left Turn, Straight Maze"). As the name suggests, clues in that puzzle restricted behaviour of the loop to only one type. Traffic Sign Maze is a direct generalisation of the original.
