Put together the seven Tangram pieces to construct the given shape.

Rule variations[edit]

  • Seven specific pieces are used in Tangram puzzles. However, in theory, any set of polygon works as pieces, and such puzzles are more generally called dissection puzzles.

Although Sam Loyd (USA) fradulently claimed that this was his invention, Tangram was around in China since the early 19th century. First mention of the puzzle is from 1815.[1]
