Place the nine half dominoes into the grid, without rotating or reflecting them. Numbers indicate how many dots are there in the given row, column or diagonal.

Nine half dominoes are usually one of the following patterns of pips. (Taken from Ulrich Voigt's Half Dominoes puzzle[1])

Rule variations[edit]

  • Half Dominoes on irregular grids uses different set of half dominoes. The example below is a set of triangular half dominoes used in WPC 2018.

History of the puzzle[edit]

Appeared on WPC 1999/Part 5, an "innovative" round. The author of the puzzle is unknown.
