Anagram Example and Solution.png

Find the anagram for the given word from the given list of words.

(Rules and example from WPC 2017 IB)

History of the puzzle[edit]

The notion of anagram existed on Hebrew (Talmudic) literature. It is also said to have been present in Greek literature, but the validity of this is questionable. [1]

This culturally-independent version doesn't make sense if the puzzle was solely presented. However, the actual puzzle in WPC 2017/Round 23 was a part of the larger puzzle with a shared list, therefore leaving a lot of unusued words.
